CSP Governance

After CSP became more formalised in 2019, time was taken to reflect, and plans were made to move forward. Implementing a set of rules and principles was recognised as being really important, for the partnership.

This ensures that we have clear governance and keeps us well organised as we move into the future. You can read our Constitution Document here.

Almost every aspect of our lives revolves around data. The work of CSP is no different and our GDPR policy ensures that we comply with current data protection legislation.  Our Secretary is responsible for ensuring that all personal data belonging to our committee, our

members and our many contacts, is gathered, managed and kept in accordance with the GDPR rules and protected from misuse, exploitation and with privacy respected. Read our Data Protection Policy.

CSP’s Privacy Policy for our website governs the privacy of those who choose to use it and it explains how we comply with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), the DPA (Data Protection Act) [pre GDPR enforcement] and the PECR (Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations). Our Policy explains areas

of our website that may affect your privacy and personal details, how we process, collect, manage and store those details and how your rights under the GDPR, DPA & PECR are adhered to. Additionally, it explains the use of cookies and software, any advertising or commercial sponsorship from third parties and the download of any documents, files or software made available to you on our website. Read our Website Privacy Policy here.

To create each of the above documents, a working group was brought together and the documents were created using available guidance, and then shared with the rest of the CSP Committee for agreement. These processes were fully inclusive of the whole team.
